Amazon Commits Another $13B to India for AI and Cloud, Pushing Its Bet to $48B by 2030

Amazon CEO Andy Jassy, meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi, announced an additional $13 billion investment in India for AI and cloud infrastructure by 2030, lifting Amazon's total committed India spend to about $48 billion -- more than $21 billion of it earmarked for AI and cloud. Odyssey Raises $310M at $1.45B -- Amazon and AMD Bet on World Models for Physical AI

Odyssey, the Los Angeles startup founded by self-driving veterans Oliver Cameron and Jeff Hawke, raised a $310 million Series B at a $1.45 billion valuation to build 'world models' -- AI systems that simulate physical environments with real-world physics for robotics, autonomy, and interactive media. The round was led by Natural Capital, with Amazon, AMD Ventures, GV, Jeff Dean, Elad Gil, Garry Tan, Guillermo Rauch, and Kyle Vogt participating, and notably routes the company onto AWS Trainium after it had earlier taken Nvidia's money.

Odyssey Raises $310M Series B for AI Infrastructure -- Amazon and AMD In

AI infrastructure startup Odyssey raised a $310M Series B from a syndicate including Natural Capital, Amazon, AMD Ventures, GV, and EQT. Strategic backers across the compute stack signal a bet that the AI build-out still needs new infrastructure layers, not just more GPUs.
