How a company gets a card

  • Private and active: no ticker, no IPO or SPAC on file, not acquired.
  • Its current valuation is at least $1B and was confirmed against the cited article (or a second source) in the Sep 2026 source audit.
  • Talks, targets, “seeking” figures, IPO ranges and estimates don't count — those companies are left out rather than shown with a softer number.
  • Confirmed figures that disagree by more than 25%, or a valuation older than a later round whose price is undisclosed or different, also keep a company out.
  • The latest round and lead investors come from our funding-round records; if they're unknown, the card leaves them off.
