Analysis
Journify, a San Francisco-based ad-signal infrastructure startup, raised a $12 million Series A at four times its previous valuation on November 3, 2026, after growing revenue more than fivefold, according to TechStartups.
What Journify does
Founded in 2022 by CEO Taoufik El Jamali along with Amine Chouki and Omar Al Shoubaki, Journify builds infrastructure that connects first-party data from a business's website, mobile app, point-of-sale systems and CRM, then sends consented signals to advertising platforms. The company is headquartered in San Francisco with offices in Dubai and Riyadh, and says more than 100 businesses now use its platform, per TechStartups.
Journify's funding history, by the numbers
- Series A: $12 million, led by Al Mada Ventures and co-led by returning seed investor Silicon Badia, at four times Journify's previous valuation (no absolute figure was disclosed).
- Revenue growth: more than 5x since Silicon Badia's original seed investment, according to Silicon Badia partner Hossam Shafick.
- Round composition: existing backers Shorooq and Bunat Ventures increased their stakes, while Du Ventures and Oraseya Capital joined as new investors -- six total participants across one lead, one co-lead, two increasing and two brand-new.
- Customer base: 100+ businesses, up from an undisclosed earlier base.
- Named customer result: Jarir Bookstore, one of Saudi Arabia's largest retailers, lifted its return on ad spend on Meta by 182% using Journify's signals.
- Second named customer result: Saudi e-commerce brand Baytonia grew its TikTok return on ad spend by 80% while cutting cost per purchase by 44%.

Who invested in Journify
Al Mada Ventures led the round, with Silicon Badia -- Journify's original seed lead -- returning to co-lead, a structure that keeps the earliest institutional believer involved at a larger check size rather than simply along for the ride. Shorooq and Bunat Ventures both chose to increase their existing stakes rather than merely maintain them, while Du Ventures and Oraseya Capital joined fresh, giving the round geographic and strategic breadth across six total participants, per TechStartups.
Ad-signal infrastructure market and competitors
Global ad spend is projected to exceed $1 trillion in 2026, according to dentsu data cited in the TechStartups report, and algorithms are expected to place three-quarters of all ads by 2028. Journify doesn't compete directly with the ad platforms it integrates with -- Google, Meta, TikTok, Snap and Amazon Ads -- but all five are building their own first-party signal and clean-room tools, narrowing the lane for independent infrastructure vendors like Journify over time, a dynamic also visible across the broader 2026 funding landscape. New board member Ryan Burke, who said he has known El Jamali since their InVision days, adds a product-design pedigree to the board as Journify pushes into the U.S. and European markets this round is meant to fund.
What to watch next
Journify's named customer wins so far -- Jarir Bookstore and Baytonia -- are both Saudi companies, so the stated plan to expand into the U.S. and Europe with this capital is still unproven outside the Gulf region where Journify built its early traction. A 4x valuation markup on 5x revenue growth is a healthier ratio than many AI-era rounds show, but it is a small sample of two publicized case studies rather than the full 100-plus customer base. Watch whether Journify can publish a non-Gulf customer result within the next two quarters.
