Zenity raised a $125 million Series C led by Norwest, with new investors Qumra Capital, SoftBank Vision Fund 2, Hitachi Ventures and LG Technology Ventures joining existing backers Vertex Ventures, Third Point Ventures, DTCP and Intel Capital, per Fintech Global. Total funding now sits near $185 million.
Founded in 2021 by Unit 8200 veterans Ben Kliger and Michael Bargury, who previously built cloud and operational technology security products together at Microsoft, Zenity's platform monitors, secures and governs AI agents as they gain access to internal systems, data and workflows. The company framed the round around securing an eventual population of a billion agents.

The category exists because of a specific enterprise failure mode. Agents inherit the permissions of whoever deployed them, run without a human in the loop, and are increasingly built by non-engineers inside Copilot Studio, Salesforce Agentforce and similar tools. Security teams frequently cannot enumerate which agents exist, let alone what they can reach -- and this week's IBM Langflow exploitation, added to CISA's Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog, is a live example of agent infrastructure being attacked in production.
Competition is arriving from every direction: Noma Security and Lasso in the startup tier, CrowdStrike and Palo Alto Networks bolting agent governance onto existing platforms, and Microsoft shipping native controls inside the same Copilot surface Zenity monitors. The recurring problem for third-party governance tools is that platform-native controls arrive free and good enough.
What to watch: whether Zenity's customers are buying it for multi-platform coverage -- Microsoft plus Salesforce plus homegrown agents -- because that is the only durable wedge against native tooling.
